Cucumber mint juice is one of the best drinks to beat the heat in peak summers.

By having this drink we can hydrate our bodies in the hot climate.

It is a different drink compared to other traditional summer drinks.

About Cucumber Mint Juice

Cucumber mint juice is made with fresh cucumber, mint and very few other ingredients.

All the ingredients are easily available at home. It is prepared in a few minutes also.

This is a very refreshing drink and hydrates our body instantly. You can serve it to your guests also.

Cucumber is generally used in making salads. But, you can try this mint cucumber drink also.

I have made this juice in two ways. In the first method, I have not put spices. In the second method, I have added some other spices.

Cucumber and Mint Health Benefits

Cucumber has lots of water in it and zero fat in it. This cools our bodies.

Cucumber Mint Juice

Cucumber mint juice is refreshing juice for the summers.

Ingredients

Ingredients for Simple Juice

  • 1.5 medium size cucumber
  • 1 inch ginger
  • ¼ tsp black salt
  • handful of mint
  • ½ lemon juice
  • Water
  • Ice cubes

Ingredients for the Second method

  • 1.5 medium size Cucumber
  • 1 inch ginger
  • handful of mint
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper powder
  • ½ tsp chaat masala
  • ½ tsp roasted cumin seeds powder
  • 1 tsp khand
  • ½ lemon juice
  • water
  • ice cubes

For glass decoration

  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp salt

Instructions 

First Method – Simple Juice

  • Peel the cucumber and roughly chop them.
  • Put them in the mixer jar.
  • Add 1 inch of ginger to the jar.
  • Add handful of mint to it.
  • Then add ¼ tsp of black salt.
  • Add ½ lemon juice to it.
  • Add a little bit of water to it.
  • Blend them in the mixer jar.
  • Strain with the help of a strainer.
  • Add a glass of water to the mixer jar and then put that water in the strainer. So that the leftover cucumber will mix in the water and then you can use it.
  • In a glass add a few ice cubes, then add cucumber mint juice.
  • Garnish it with a mint leaf and round cut lemon.

Second Method – Spiced one

  • Peel the cucumber and roughly chop them.
  • Put them in the mixer jar.
  • Add 1 inch of ginger to the jar.
  • Add a handful of mint to it.
  • Add ¼ tsp salt to it.
  • Then add ¼ tsp of black pepper powder and ¼ tsp of black salt to it.
  • Add ½ tsp chaat masala to it.
  • Add ¼ tsp roasted cumin seeds powder to it.
  • For adding a sweet taste, I have added 1 tbsp khand to it. It is an optional ingredient.
  • Squeeze ½ lemon juice to it.
  • Add a little bit of water to it.
  • Blend them in the mixer jar.
  • Strain with the help of a strainer.
  • Add a glass of water to the mixer jar and then put that water in the strainer. So that the leftover cucumber will mix in the water and then you can use it.
  • For decorating the glass
  • Put 1 tsp each of red chilli powder and salt on a plate.
  • Mix them and spread them on the plate.
  • Rub lemon peel in the corners of the glass. Then touch the corners of the glass in the masala on the plate. Masala will stick to the corners of the glass.
  • Put a few ice cubes into the glass.
  • Then add juice to the glass.
  • Garnish it with a mint leaf and round cut lemon.

Notes

  1. If you want to add sweetness to it, then you can add jaggery (gud), khand, honey, and shakkar to it.
  2. There is no need to peel the cucumber. You can blend it with its skin.
