Aloo halwa is one of the sweets which we make on fasting days. You can have it on any vrats or in any other day.

Aloo halwa is a perfect sweet dish to have it on Navratri, Ekadashi, Duadshi, Shivratri, Janmashtmi, Pradosh,  etc. vrats.

Aloo Halwa Recipe Ingredients

3 medium size boiled mashed potato (aloo) 3-4 tbsp desi ghee Sugar 5-6 pistachio (pista) 5-6 almonds (badam) 6 Raisins (kishmish) 1 tsp cardamon seeds (elaichi dana)

Step 1

Heat the pan and put 3-4 tablespoon ghee and put aloo in it and mix it well. On medium flame mix it well for 3-4 minutes so that aloo can cook nicely. All the ghee is absorbed in potato

Step 2

Now mix the potatoes for a few more minutes. The Potato will release oil from it. It indicates that it is cooked.

Step 3

On high flame, add sugar & mix it well. Add cardamon seeds, pistachio, cashew, and almonds and mix it well. You can add dry grated coconut also.
