Delicious Samosa Recipe

Who does not want to have samosa in cold winters and rainy seasons?  You will love the taste of it.

" It is not difficult to make delicious samosa. We just need to make perfect filling of it. Whatevery shape we give to it. If filling is good then it will taste good."


1.5 cup maida 1/2 tsp salt  1/2 tsp ajwaiyan 5-6 tsp cooking oil

for samosa stuffing

6-7 boiled potatoe 1.5 to 2 tbsp cooking oil green chilie

for making samosa pastry

chopped  ginger kishmish cumin seed roasted jeera powder red chillies powder Coriander powder 1 tsp garam masala powder chaat masala powder Amchur Oil for deep frying


In a bowl mix  teaspoon of salt, ajwaiyan, 3-4 tbsp of cooking oil and maida. Mix it well. And add water and knead it. And let it rest for 10-15 minute.

Kneed the dough for samosa

In a kadhai, heat oil and add jeera, green chilies, ginger, coriander powder, red chili powderm garam masala and cook it well.

Make Samosa Stuffing

Now add roughly mashed potatoes, chaat masala, amchur, crushed roasted cumin seeds, raisins and salt. Mix it well. Keep the filling aside to cool.

Roll the dough ball and cut it from the centre. Apply some water on the straight edge & join them. Put samosa stuffing into it. Seal the open ends of it. Press both the edges and seal it well.

Steps for Shaping Samosa

Keep the gas flame to lower medium or medium. And fry it from both of the sides.
